The three separate block sizes that make up the Meadow Stone segmental retaining wall system can be laid randomly throughout the wall to create an attractive natural looking garden wall.
LEARN MOREAn Ecotrihex® permeable pavement is the key to a sustainable water management system. These specially designed pavers allow water to permeate through the surface into the layers below where water can be harvested or redirected. Surface water runoff is minimised and the need for additional surface drainage is reduced.
LEARN MOREThis affordable and easy to install large format paver is ideal for all home do it yourself projects including patios, paths and courtyards.

Landscaping Tasmania

This Tasmanian backyard entertainment area blends with the surrounding bushland, providing permeable and aesthetic benefits.
This backyard was transformed in 2021 to create a family outdoor entertainment area that would blend in with the surrounding bushland. The yard has been divided into two separate areas, providing the perfect outdoor space for a family to enjoy.
The main seating entertainment area has a unique basketweave paving pattern created with Adbri Masonry Quadro 6×4 pavers. The retaining wall dividing the two spaces has been built with Adbri Masonry Meadow Stone blocks. On one side of the retaining wall a garden has been planted in front of the wall with a small course of Adbri Masonry Meadow Stone blocks installed in front, separating the pavement and garden.
The backyard lawn is situated up a level, with a path made out of Adbri Masonry permeable paver, Ecotrihex®. Permeable pavers reduce runoff by allowing water to permeate through the pavement to the layers below. Used for either residential, commercial or industrial applications, permeable pavements can produce a range of benefits.
A custom lighting system was also installed, which can be controlled via a phone app, making the outdoor area accessible year round.
• Reduces surface run-off
• Reduces the risk of localised flooding and downstream flooding

• Recharges groundwater tables
• Aesthetic appearance
• Traps pollutants and prevents them from being carried into waterways
• Facilitates biological decomposition of trapped pollutants
• Can be used to replace or reduce size of detention / retention basins
• Allows water and air to access the roots of vegetation
• Water and air circulation can assist in reducing heat island effects
• Can be trafficked immediately following installation
• Paving units are pre-cured preventing shrinkage and removing the need for control joints
